Linux-2.6.12-rc2
Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!

* Given a bus, device, and function number, compute resulting

* cycles automatically depending on the bus number (Bus 0 is

* hardwired to Type 0, all others are Type 1. Peer bridges

* are not supported).

* 15:11 Device number (5 bits)

* 10:8 function number

* 7:2 register number

* Notes:

* The function number selects which function of a multi-function device

* (e.g., scsi and ethernet).

*
* The register selects a DWORD (32 bit) register offset. Hence it

* doesn't get shifted by 2 bits as we want to "drop" the bottom two
* bits.
