Yeah I shall confess kmem_minimalistic should be: kmem_alternative.
Whatever, I find it more readable but this a personal opinion of course.
We can drop it if you want.
On the ALLOC/FREE column, + means an allocation and - a free.
On the type column, you have K = kmalloc, C = cache, P = page
I would like the flags to be GFP_* strings but that would not be easy to not
break the column with strings....
About the node...it seems to always be -1. I don't know why but that shouldn't
be difficult to find.
I moved linux/tracepoint.h to trace/tracepoint.h as well. I think that would
be more easy to find the tracer headers if they are all in their common
directory.

Users can pass kmemtrace.enabled=yes as a kernel parameter to enable kmemtrace
at boot so remove the useless CONFIG_KMEMTRACE_DEFAULT_ENABLED config option.

The kmemtrace_init() function returns early if kmemtrace is disabled at boot
causing kmemtrace_setup_late() to also bail out on NULL channel. This has the
unfortunate side effect that none of the debugfs files needed to enable
kmemtrace after boot are created.

This patch adds kmemtrace hooks for __kmalloc_track_caller() and
__kmalloc_node_track_caller(). Currently, they set the call site pointer
to the value recieved as a parameter. (This could change if we implement
stack trace exporting in kmemtrace.)

Fix the problem "kmemtrace: fix printk format warnings" attempted to fix,
but resulted in marker-probe format mismatch warnings. Instead of carrying
size_t into probes, we get rid of it by casting to unsigned long, just as
we did with gfp_t.
This way, we don't need to change marker format strings and we don't have
to rely on other format specifiers like "%zu", making for consistent use
of more generic data types (since there are no format specifiers for
gfp_t, for example).

kmemtrace provides tracing for slab allocator functions, such as kmalloc,
kfree, kmem_cache_alloc, kmem_cache_free etc.. Collected data is then fed
to the userspace application in order to analyse allocation hotspots,
internal fragmentation and so on, making it possible to see how well an
allocator performs, as well as debug and profile kernel code.

previous patch moved _RET_IP_ and _THIS_IP_ to include/linux/kernel.h and
they're widely available now. This makes for shorter and easier to read
code.

This adds support for 16k and 64k page sizes on PowerPC 44x processors.
The PGDIR table is much smaller than a page when using 16k or 64k
pages (512 and 32 bytes respectively) so we allocate the PGDIR with
kzalloc() instead of __get_free_pages().
One PTE table covers rather a large memory area when using 16k or 64k
pages (32MB or 512MB respectively), so we can easily put FIXMAP and
PKMAP in the area covered by one PTE table.

Ensure that total memory size is page-aligned, because otherwise
mark_bootmem() gets upset.
This error case was triggered by using 64 KiB pages in the kernel
while arch/powerpc/boot/4xx.c arbitrarily reduced the amount of memory
by 4096 (to work around a chip bug that affects the last 256 bytes of
physical memory).

Remove the Mac VBL interrupt code as it doesn't work properly and
doesn't bring any benefit when fixed. Also remove unused
DEFAULT_CURSOR_BLINK_RATE macro and irqres variable.

Add some __iomem annotations. Remove some volatile qualifiers to fix
several compiler warnings: "passing arg 1 of `iounmap' discards qualifiers
from pointer target type".

No-one seems to know how to mask individual baboon interrupts, so we just
mask the umbrella IRQ. This will work as long as only the IDE driver uses
the baboon chip (it can't deadlock). Use mac_enable_irq/mac_disable_irq
rather than enable_irq/disable_irq because the latter routines count the
depth of nested calls which triggers a warning and call trace because
IRQ_NUBUS_C is enabled twice in a row (once when the baboon handler is
registered, and once when the IDE IRQ is registered).

Reinstate the Mac hardware clock for CUDA ADB and Mac II ADB models.
It doesn't work properly on Mac IIsi ADB and PMU ADB yet, so leave them
out.

I noticed it isn't possible to build token ring & fddi drivers
without causing LLC, and a bunch of other things to be forced
built-in. For distro kernels, this means carrying a chunk of
code in the vmlinuz, even if the user doesn't use those protocols.
